Statement Condemning the Pakistani Army’s Atrocities in Eastern Balochistan "Panjgur"

The recent military assault by the Pakistani Army on the city of Panjgur in Eastern Balochistan represents yet another horrific chapter in the ongoing campaign of state terror against the Baloch people. During this brutal operation, Pakistani soldiers looted civilian homes, stole people’s belongings, and committed grave human rights violations against the residents of the city.

According to local sources, several Baloch women were subjected to sexual assault and physical torture, and their half-dead bodies were left abandoned after the attack. The woman shown in the attached photo is one of the victims of this barbaric assault by the Pakistani Army in Panjgur. Her suffering is a tragic reminder of the unspeakable violence systematically inflicted upon the Baloch nation by Pakistan’s military establishment.

These atrocities are not random acts — they are part of a systematic policy by the Punjabi-dominated Pakistani Army to suppress the Baloch people through fear, humiliation, and destruction. Thousands of Baloch men, women, and youth have been abducted, many of whom remain missing to this day. Countless families live in agony, deprived of any information about their loved ones.

Moreover, credible reports indicate that Baloch women are being held as hostages in military camps, where they are used as sexual slaves by army personnel. Such actions constitute crimes against humanity and demand immediate international investigation and condemnation.

I call upon the United Nations, international human rights organizations, democratic governments, and all free and just people across the world to:
1. Condemn the atrocities and war crimes committed by the Pakistani Army in Balochistan;
2. Exert political and diplomatic pressure on the Pakistani state to end its campaign of terror and occupation; and
3. Send an independent UN fact-finding mission to Balochistan to investigate and document the full scale of these crimes.

Pakistan is an occupying and colonial state in Balochistan. The genocide, enforced disappearances, and sexual violence committed by its army have no limits. It is time for the world to break its silence and stand in solidarity with the oppressed Baloch people in their struggle for freedom, dignity, and justice.

Mohim Baloch-Sarkhosh
