NCRI to Reveal New Information on Iran’s Secret Nuclear Weapons Program

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, the US Representative Office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI-US) will disclose the Iranian regime’s current plan, after the original AMAD plan, to acquire nuclear weapons and details on some of its projects that have been uncovered.
The information to be revealed has been recently obtained by the network of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (MEK) within the country, including from inside the regime’s entities
In May 2003, the NCRI revealed the nuclear site in Lavisan-Shian, which led to the regime razing the entire structure before allowing the IAEA to inspect the site. Yet, Lavisan-Shian is one of the four locations highlighted in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)'s May 31, 2025, comprehensive report on Iran’s non-compliance with its Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) safeguards obligations and lack of cooperation with the IAEA.
In July 2011, the NCRI revealed the establishment of the Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research (SPND by its Farsi acronym). The IAEA highlighted this entity in its November 2011 report, and the Department of State sanctioned SPND on August 29, 2014, pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 13382.
