Logically and religiously, I find myself closer to the alliance of America, Israel, and the Gulf countries than to that of Iran and its allies
They asked me: "Sheikh Hassan Said Mecheimeche, do you align with the alliance of America, Europe, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE?"
Many of my relatives, friends, and even military figures within the Shiite "Khomeinist Party" organization in Lebanon often ask me, whether in person, on Messenger, Facebook, or WhatsApp: "Do you stand with the alliance of America, Europe, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE in a conflict where there is no neutral ground, meaning you must choose between this alliance or the one led by Russia, Iran, and Bashar?"
I responded to them: "If the conflict is strictly between the alliance of American and the alliance of Russian, with no alternative, I would align with the alliance of America against the Russian and Iranian side. If you ask for the religious justification for my position—one that I am confident is right and that will clear my conscience before the angels of God Almighty on the Day of Judgment—here it is:
1- Iraqi Shiite jurists, leaders of Shiite parties in Iraq, and Khomeini himself chose to seek political refuge in America and European countries, considering these places to be far better than Russia in every aspect of life.
2- When Shiite jurists and party leaders from Iraq and beyond need medical care, they turn exclusively to the hospitals of America and Europe. They feel their money is secure only when it rests in "interest-bearing" banks in these Western nations. Moreover, their children are raised and educated not at home, but in places like America, Britain, and their allied countries—Germany, France, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Switzerland, Norway, Finland, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, and many more.
For them, Russia holds no significance, nor do Iran, Syria, North Korea, or China. They are convinced, without a doubt, that life in America and its allied countries is incomparably better than in Russia. This belief is the strongest, most undeniable proof that, by all standards, America, Europe, and their allies are superior to Russia and its allies. It also reflects the innate human inclination, shaped by divine design, to seek what is better and more fulfilling.
3- The contributions and innovations of Russia and its allies are dwarfed by the advancements made by America, Europe, and their allied nations. On every front, the impact of these Western countries on humanity stands as a monumental testament to progress, far surpassing what has been achieved by Russia and its partners.
4- I cannot recognize the legitimacy of any country whose government is not democratic and secular. In my view, Russia's democracy is feeble, blind, and deeply flawed when compared to the vibrant, exemplary democracies of Britain, Canada, Australia, Germany, Japan, France, Sweden, Norway, and Finland—all of which are aligned with America and orbit around its influence. Anyone who disputes these facts is, in my opinion, stubborn, obstinate, mentally impaired, and afflicted with a blindness that obscures the light of truth.
