The Israeli military said a “projectile” was fired from the Gaza Strip toward Israel on Saturday.
“A projectile was identified crossing the Gaza Strip from the south and most likely falling in an open area,” the military said in a statement, adding that there were no injuries reported.
An earthquake of magnitude 5.93 struck West Papua region of Indonesia on Saturday, the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) said. The quake was at a depth of 10 km (6 miles), GFZ said.
